Strategy Consultant

Employment type: Contract, part-time to full-time (20-40 hrs/week negotiable)

About the Role
Battery Associate's BatteryPRO division is growing, bringing value to clients across the battery, auto OEM, Government and consulting industries. As we find more ways to drive impact and build stronger relationships with our clients, we are looking for a seasoned management consultant to join our consulting team. Depending on experience level, the candidate will perform as an individual contributor on client engagement teams or lead client engagements, and preferably act as a subject matter expert on consulting projects. The ideal candidate will compliment their strategy consulting skillset with experience in business development / sales - in order to contribute to the strategic growth of Battery Associates.
Battery Associates is an Irish company embracing a remote culture. While this is a remote position, we operate as a team and structure working days around team and client meetings. In addition, you may be invited to join battery conferences and annual staff retreats.
Key Responsibilities

Scoping consulting projects, developing bids, and responding to requests for proposals (RFPs)
-
Framing issues and problem-structuring
-
Problem-solving by performing research and analysis
-
Developing go-to-market strategies
-
Developing professional consulting quality outputs - most commonly as PowerPoint decks
-
Delivering outputs to proposal/contract specifications
-
Cultivating successful client relationships
-
Anticipating and communicating project risks
-
Leading client engagement teams and mentoring junior staff as required
-
Contributing to the development of BA’s intellectual property
-
Supporting BA’s business development efforts by identifying new opportunities or additional opportunities with current clients
Must-Have Competencies

-
2+ years management consulting experience
-
Experience developing project proposals/RFPs - framing, scoping and budgeting
-
In-depth planning and analytical problem-solving capabilities; ability to identify key issues, analyse data, and make recommendations to develop strategies addressing problems or leverage opportunities

Proven experience delivering professional consulting quality outputs for clients in line with expectations and deadlines
-
Excellent verbal and written communication in English with outstanding attention to detail; confident presenter and communicator
-
Passionate about collaborating to solve client problems. You actively seek and welcome feedback to support the development of your skills and expertise
-
Enthusiastic to continue learning and developing your skills and knowledge - be that consulting toolkit or battery related
-
Outstanding integrity and the ability to always seek to do the right thing for the client and BA
Nice to Have Competencies

Knowledge about the battery industry

Experience in business development/sales
